A small group at my church challenged me to create an ugly piece of art. That really got my brain going about if art has to be beautiful to qualify as art. I decided that successful art does not have to be beautiful. I think the criteria for good art is that it makes you feel something. It can be moody, ominous, or glim but if it moves you it is still art. This was my attempt.
